Horizon Theatre Rep is dedicated to producing work from the international repertory. We strive to give emerging artists the opportunity to take risks, to excel, and to make their mark.

Art is a language that is universally understood and, with art as an ambassador, we can encourage cultural dialogue between generations and across national boundaries.
Art stimulates new ways of thinking and new ways of seeing.

History

The Company’s focus is on 20th Century playwriting. Horizon Theatre Rep endeavors to find a contemporary idiom or vocabulary to tell 20th century stories and to bridge the generation gap.

Horizon Theatre Rep is grounded in New York City and is passionately dedicated to reflecting the cultural greatness and diversity of our city. We are dedicated to expressing the unique and powerful forces of its peoples, ideas and divergent points of view.
